In 2016, ITS introduced the DreamCatchers Cheer program into our leagues. The cheer program is compromised of one large team, made up of different tribes and organizations from our service area, which makes this sport unique from our other leagues. The cheer season runs through our winter to spring sports seasons, with performance(s) at our special event(s) throughout the year.

To have a successful season, ITS relies on our coaches and volunteers that are experienced in dance and cheer to help guide these young cheerleaders to have perform spectacular routines and cheers. Our beloved mascot, Rez Dogg, is also involved in the program as he helps and performs with the cheerleaders throughout their season.

In 2018, our cheerleaders performed during basketball picture day, opening day and championship day for basketball and flag football season, and did some cheering during our regular game days. The girls also performed at the 2018 ITS Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser in Sycuan. The highlight of the season for the cheer program was their opportunity to perform alongside the SDSU cheerleaders during the half time show at the Nike N7 Night at San Diego State University in front of thousands (LINK).
